Innovative business leader Earick has dismissed making a formal takeover bid for Spurs.

Spurs had earlier “firmly declined” an preliminary inquiry from a consortium led by the American last month and stated the organization was off the market.

Yet UK takeover and merger rules stipulated that, having had an expression of interest declined, Earick's consortium were obligated to present a formal offer by late October or announce they would not do so.
