Soccer Player Welsh Athlete Ramsey Ups Reward for Missing Dog in Mexico to $Twenty Thousand Dollars
Welsh football star Aaron Ramsey has boosted the bounty for information regarding the vanished canine named Halo to £15k.
Ex- Arsenal and Cardiff City player, who now is with the Mexican club Pumas in the capital, stated that the beagle was last seen in a Mexican town, located in the Guanajuato region.
the dog, who disappeared on 9 October, was wearing a tracking device, and Ramsey shared a Google maps location of the spot she vanished from.
"Any information regarding our Halo kindly contact us. Big bounty for locating her. We are all praying she is safe and can be back to our side quickly," Ramsey wrote on Instagram.
Initial Bounty and Heartfelt Appeals
Ramsey initially revealed that Halo had vanished two weeks ago and has subsequently posted numerous images of the adored pet on his social media account.
A $$10k reward was initially provided, but with absence of information on the dog's status after a week, the player and his family doubled the reward.
"Our only wish is Halo back," he expressed in an additional appeal on his online platforms after the decade-old dog disappeared.
The latest picture post is a monochrome snapshot of Halo napping, its head resting in the curve of the athlete's arm, with the description: "What I wouldn't give to cuddle you once more Halo."
Household's Concerns and Context
Ramsey has also circulated a note from his wife Colleen on online channels indicating they have some "pressing questions" about the event and fear the household "might not get answers".
"We have yet to haven't found our dog. I fear we will," the spouse's message expressed.
The Wales skipper signed with Mexican first division club Pumas UNAM recently and had his inaugural match in Liga MX in the eighth month.
Born in Caerphilly footballer is the initial prominent UK athlete to play in the Mexico's top division.
